Live-Tweet Event Recap

 Howdy Friends!

This week, we were assigned to live-tweet an event. I chose to live-tweet the Seattle Kraken vs Nashville Predators professional hockey game. The starting goalie for the Predators was Juuse Saros who had a record of 25-16-3 coming into this game and for the Kraken it was Chris Driedger in net with his record of 4-8-0 up to this point in the season. The first and third periods were fairly boring with only two total goals scored, but period number two was a flurry of excitement as the Predators took a 2-0 lead before the Kraken responded with three goals in 2:39 of game time to take their first lead of the game. The Predators didn't take long to respond and tied the game up at 3-3 before the end of the second period. And the third period had some good hockey being played but not nearly as exciting as the second period as only one goal was scored for the Kraken but that was enough to carry them across the finish line with the victory after time expired. The following is the goal timeline from the game:

Period 1

- Predators goal scored by Philip Tomasino, assisted by Michael McCarron and Roman Josi (13:13)

Period 2

- Predators powerplay goal scored by Matt Duchene, assisted by Roman Josi and Ryan Johansen (6:54)

- Kraken goal scored by Alex Wennberg, assisted by Kole Lind and Marcus Johansson (7:23)

- Kraken goal scored by Calle Jarnkrok, assisted by Jordan Eberle and Morgan Geekie (8:58)

- Kraken goal scored by Yanni Gourde, assisted by Colin Blackwell and Vince Dunn (10:02)

- Predators goal scored by Matt Duchene, assisted by Eeli Tolvanen and Dante Fabbro (14:36)

Period 3

- Kraken shorthanded goal scored by Colin Blackwell, assisted by Yanni Gourde (3:19)

Thanks for tuning in!
